Black Health Equity
This grant focused on connecting a vulnerable population that was highly impacted by Covid 19 with mental and health resources and education. Ronnie’s House was able to provide services to this community by primarily outreaching to Black Owned Barbershops, Black Operated Non Profits & Groups, creating Health Hub Centers throughout the city, and by utilizing custom campaigns for this population.
Although not a part of our grant, Ronnies House was able to donate PPE materials to recipients of the Black Health Grant. This was made possible through a generous donation made to Ronnies House.

The website was not covered by the CARES Act Grant however we felt that it was important to bring some health and wellness resources to the community so the dollars spent for outreach can be impactful. We are committed to ensuring that the dollars invested in Ronnie’s House are invested in initiatives that can last past the grants. We do not believe in checking boxes, we believe in changing lives.
