A Powerful 2-Day Virtual Summit for Reentry & Youth-Serving Organizations

Ronnie’s House, the Los Angeles Reentry Partnership, and Bridge Forward Alliance brought together reentry and youth-serving organizations for a 2-day virtual summit focused on strengthening organizations and expanding their impact.

The summit provided participants with practical strategies to secure and diversify funding, strengthen operational capacity, and integrate AI-driven tools to streamline workflows and improve service delivery.

State of Reentry

Leaders from LARRP, JCOD, the Sheriff’s Department, CDCR, system partners, and justice-impacted community members came together for a solutions-focused conversation on strengthening reentry support before and after release.

JCOD Contracting: How to Work with the County

Attendees learned how to navigate JCOD contracting, the Master Agreement process, nonprofit certification, and strategies for faster reimbursement on county contracts.

Using AI for Growth

Participants explored practical ways to use AI for funding searches, grant writing, visibility, case management, content creation, and new revenue opportunities.

Trauma-Informed Leadership Workshop

Led by Dr. Rick Williamson, this interactive workshop helped participants strengthen trauma-informed leadership practices, build trust, and improve collaboration across teams and systems.

Fireside Conversation

CDCR Secretary Jeff Macomber joined participants for a fireside conversation focused on reentry, systems, and opportunities for meaningful change.

Diversify Your Funding: Beyond Grants

Led by Dr. Wade Martin of Cal State Long Beach, participants explored social enterprise, earned income, events, and other strategies to diversify revenue and reduce dependence on grants.
